Had two visits with Sigis to do my tattoo, a half sleeve. Started with a consultation of my idea and made a few tweaks to better the artwork, then the appointments. Sigis is amazing at bringing your artwork to life, with an immense sense of realism and accuracy! The sessions were relaxed and fun, offering breaks when needed and worked late on session 1 to finish the first half in entirety. Session 2 flew, as I knew what to expect and Sigis knew exactly what I wanted. All the guys at gentleman George's are great and come by and chat inbetween appointments. Coffee was in great supply and I really enjoyed my first tat experience!

Lois is amazing!! She done my tattoos on both my feet of my dogs paw prints i absolutely love them!! She is really talented at what she does i would 10000000% recommend her i wouldn’t go anywere else for a tattoo. Walk ins, socials and dm’s get hold of her and get her booked before the summer as she is busy!! A busy tattooist is a good tattooist

I had a great experience at Gentleman’s George’s Tattoo. Sigiska worked on my entire inner arm, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The design fits my arm well and the detail is solid throughout. Sigiska was professional and made sure I was comfortable during the session. I was incredibly lucky to be tattooed by Sigis last month. He was highly professional and also very friendly - not minding when I asked for a slight change on the design and even made me a coffee! I’m in the middle of finishing my leg sleeve with Sigis and from start to finish he has been awesome. I can’t describe how talented this artist is and the way he designs the tattoo better than you can even imagine! I’d highly recommend him he makes sure you are comfortable throughout the time you are there. I’m obsessed with my tattoo and get so many compliments on how amazing it is !

Sigitas who did my tattoo is an amazing tattoo artist and also a really nice man. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get tattooed. You can tell all the tattoo artist’s and nice and genuine people and the studio is extremely clean. I could recommend this place to anyone knowing comfortably they would be looked after by all the staff and would get an amazing tattoo.

I visited gentleman George tattoo parlour with a design I wanted on my arm .I spoke to Neil , who was recommended to me . I left a deposit and had my first appointment the following week .Neil arranged the design in a way it would fit my arm . I had my first sitting 2 weeks ago and got it finished today . Neil was so professional and friendly and made me feel at ease . The finished tattoo is fantastic and I couldn't be happier with it.

After contacting sigis on instagram we arranged the date for my tattoo upon arrival I was offered hot drinks and sat down in the studio, I showed sigis some ideas I had and then he began designing a unique tattoo on his iPad for me containing the details I asked and I couldn’t believe how good the outcome was it was much better than any design I had seen online and straight away I knew it was what I wanted. I had a full day session 10am till 6pm and I was completely comfortable the whole time whilst sigis worked on my arm using all his experience to give me an amazing tattoo the tattoo was better than I ever thought it would be and I have booked straight back in to continue my sleeve. Anyone looking for a tattoo I highly recommend sigis from start to finish it was such an enjoyable experience with the best quality products used and top quality aftercare supplied.

Can highly recommend Sigis. He is an amazing artist, and provides a fantastic service all round. From my initial enquiry Sigis was extremely helpful and as it was my first tattoo gave me all the info I needed. Sigis created a brilliant bespoke design, and took the time to get it exactly right. Karl tattooed me and my friend Sienna, we were both walk ins but he took his time to perfectly design both our tattoos and we absolutely love them. He made us feel very welcome and was lovely. Highly recommend this place if you want an amazing Tattoo!! I had my patch sleeve Tattoo and my spine tattoo done by Aida ( the only girl in the salon) and she was amazing! All of the tattoo artist there have a lot of years of experience and they really know what they are doing! Everyone who works there are extremely friendly and helpful so if you live in Liverpool or just visiting, get a little tattoo by these guys! You wont be disappointed 🫶❤️

Highly recommend this tattoo parlour, I went in wanting a full sleeve but not too sure on design. Neil took the time to find out what kind of images I liked and started to put one together for me. When my next session is due he is already sending me ideas so we can plan ahead. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the parlour. I have also seen then take walk ins whilst the client is visiting the city and they are more than accommodating to them. Top place, great fellas, highly recommend 👌

My 2 sisters and myself managed to get a walk in here on Thursday morning. The studio is immaculate and the guys Neil and Karl were great. Neil had a client in who held my sisters hand during her inking as she has a phobia of needles! In return she gave him a head and face massage to help him through what was a very painful inking! Went for a wee Tat today met 2 great guys Karl & Neil. Very Happy with what The 3 x Sisters got done today. Karl done ours great guy. Neil was with another Customer who was getting a very large tattoo on his arm and was a bit painful so Pam helped out the guy with a soathing and relaxing head massage. Can’t say enough about how good the whole experience at Gentlemen George’s was. Neil was polite and professional for start to finish. After my son spotted the shop as we walked by, Neil mocked up exactly what I wanted and we we retuned the next morning. The parlour is clean and spacious and the service from Neil and Carl was top notch. Would be very happy to recommend anyone to choose Gentlemen George’s when in Liverpool.

Karl did the most amazing jobs. My wife wanted a small tattoo on her arm, and he was so attentive and displayed expertise. It was her first ever one and she was a bit cautious - but he totally reassured her with his quality of work. So much so, on the spur of the moment, I then decided to get the tree of life done. He was fantastic. He turned the photo I had found on the internet into a better tattoo; he really cares about his work and art. Totally recommend him.

Good to know

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30am–6pm, whenever an artist is free. For larger or custom pieces, it’s best to book a consultation so your artist can set aside enough time.

How do I book a tattoo?

Send a booking request through the form on this page, call us on 0151 236 8255, or pop into the parlour at 46 Castle Street. We’ll talk through your idea, then a small deposit secures your date with your chosen artist.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Every piece is custom, so the price depends on size, placement and detail. Your artist will give you a quote at your consultation before anything is booked, so there are no surprises.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. A small deposit confirms your appointment and is taken before your artist starts work on your design.

Can I choose my artist?

Absolutely. Our team covers realism, black and grey, American traditional, neo-traditional, blackwork, fine line, ornamental, dotwork and colour. Browse each artist’s portfolio and pick the style that suits your idea, or choose “No preference” and we’ll match you.

How old do I need to be to get tattooed?

You must be 18 or over. It’s against the law in the UK to tattoo anyone under 18, so please bring valid photo ID to your appointment.

Do you do cover-ups and reworks?

Yes. Several of our artists regularly cover up or rework older tattoos. Send a clear photo of the existing tattoo with your booking request so we can advise what’s possible.

Where is the parlour?

We’re at 46 Castle Street, Liverpool L2 7LA, in the heart of Liverpool city centre, a short walk from Liverpool ONE and James Street station. We’re open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30am–6pm.

How do I look after my new tattoo?

Your artist will wrap your tattoo and give you clear aftercare instructions before you leave. Keep it clean, moisturise lightly and keep it out of the sun while it heals. If you have any questions during healing, just get in touch.
